 Introduction to history  The black-capped parakeet, also known as the black-capped parakeet or the rock conure, is a species of parrot native to South America. These birds are commonly found in Bolivia, Peru, and Brazil, where they have a natural habitat in the tropical rainforests of the Amazon Basin. Black-tailed deer can live anywhere from the lowlands of the Amazon to the high Andes and can fly as high as 6,000 feet. Due to the ongoing deforestation in the Amazon, Blue streaked Lory forests will seek shelter at higher altitudes.
